I've coached endurance athletes for about 30 years, from first-time Ironman finishers to professionals, and I still take on a small group each year. Every plan starts from your physiology: your training history, where you sit across the intensity spectrum, your HRV and how you actually respond to load. Then we build the season around the races that matter to you.
My athletes train on Athletica, the AI platform I built with my team. It handles the day-to-day adjustments, so my time goes on the decisions that need a coach: race selection, the big training blocks, the taper, and the conversation when something isn't right.
Athletes I've coached have won IRONMAN Lanzarote (Andi Boecherer, 2021) and IRONMAN South Africa (Kyle Buckingham, 2018), and Nicole Walker won her age group at IRONMAN Arizona, finishing 7th overall.
Luke Evans, an engineer from Ottawa, won IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa outright in 8:40:22 in 2025, self-coached on Athletica. I now coach him directly.
If you'd like to work with me directly, tell me about yourself and your goals. If you'd rather coach yourself with the same science, start with Athletica.
